We had the privilege to host Barbara Epstein Gruber in August 2025 and support her plein air practice, as well as present her beautiful paintings in Bucharest via a solo exhibition.

Known not only for her plein air landscapes, but also for her figure paintings, Barbara’s work can be found in private and corporate collections throughout the US, Europe and the UK, and has been featured in numerous local and national publications.

Currently, Barbara is a painting instructor at the Maryland Institute College of Art, Johns Hopkins University, The Yellow Barn, and the Griffin Art Center.
