Austin Basile, Philadelphia muralist, joined us in Bucharest to continue his series “Bulletproof.”
In Bulletproof, Austin presses bullet casings onto paper, following intricately designed textile patterns.
The resulting dot paintings allude to the ways gun violence has interwoven itself into the fabric of American society.
Austin began the work in Hollywood, and we were honored that he chose to continue it with us in December of 2022.
